Delta Construction in Phelan, CA | Stallion Contractors
We’re Stallion Contractors, and we provide independent Delta construction service across Phelan’s high-desert properties. That means full kitchen and bath remodels, walk-in shower installations, and roof work, all built around Delta fixtures we know inside and out. What sets our Delta work apart here is simple: private wells, septic systems, and county permits shape every decision we make long before the first fixture goes in.
Ruben Montoya leads our crew, and he grew up down the hill in Colton, where he learned early that the Inland Empire’s soil and sun punish shortcuts. We bring that same structural honesty to every Phelan job. From the kitchen to the roofline, one contractor handles the whole scope. Call (855) 600-3192 for a free estimate.
Why Phelan Residents Choose Us for Delta Service
Most Phelan homes sit on multi-acre parcels with private wells and septic systems, not city water and sewer. That changes how Delta fixtures age here. Hard well water hits Delta shower cartridges harder than municipal water ever does. Wide temperature swings work on supply lines and compression fittings over time. We’ve been inside enough Phelan homes to know exactly where these failures show up first.
Ruben’s background helps. He trained at San Bernardino Valley College, where the hands-on programs put him on job sites before he ever had a business card. His father was a finish carpenter, which is partly why he still pays more attention to the final ten percent of a job than most contractors pay to the first ninety. We carry genuine Delta OEM cartridges, seats, and springs for long-term reliability. Good work doesn’t need a sales pitch, it needs the right materials and someone who knows what they’re doing.
We’re independent, not manufacturer-affiliated. That means we recommend what actually works for a Phelan home, not what a showroom wants us to push.

Common Delta Construction Problems We Solve in Phelan
- Seized Delta shower cartridges from hard well water. Water from private wells in Phelan carries minerals that accumulate inside Delta Monitor 14 Series valves. Handles get stiff, water temperature swings mid-shower. We stock OEM cartridges and rebuild kits so the fix goes in fast.
- Leaks at Delta compression fittings near vanities and cabinets. Phelan’s expansive native soils shift seasonally. That movement transfers to cabinet and vanity mounts, stressing supply lines. We see this most often on Delta Lahara widespread faucets on exterior-mount vanities.
- Clogged Delta pull-down spray heads from dust and wind. Seasonal high winds push fine dust into homes near open dirt roads. Delta Trinsic pull-down kitchen faucets collect that grit in the spray head and aerator. We clean or replace them and fit inline sediment filters where the dust load warrants it.
- Pitting and corrosion on exterior Delta fixtures. High-desert sun and wind eat at finishes on hose bibs and outdoor shower valves. We replace with corrosion-resistant options and reseal the mounting points.
- Delta Classic 1500 faucet failures on well pressure swings. Private wells cycle pressure unevenly, which wears out older Delta Classic 1500 cartridges faster than city water does. We’ll swap in OEM parts or upgrade to a newer Delta model rated for higher pressure variance.
Delta Service in Phelan: What Local Conditions Mean for Your Equipment
Here’s the part most Delta pages won’t tell you. Phelan is unincorporated San Bernardino County, and a kitchen or bath remodel that moves plumbing or adds a bathroom requires county building permits plus separate well and septic approvals. That dual-permit sequence doesn’t happen with Delta service in Hesperia or Victorville on city lots. It adds weeks to fixture rough-in if it isn’t handled upfront.
We work with that reality every week. On a recent full kitchen remodel off Johnson Road, we replaced a failing Delta Classic 1500 faucet and upgraded the shower valve to a Delta Monitor 14 Series. The real challenge wasn’t the plumbing, it was coordinating the county permit for a relocated island sink with the private well inspection. Our crew handled the rough-in and fixture installation, then passed both inspections without a hitch. The homeowners got a code-compliant kitchen that works with their off-grid water system.
If you’re planning Delta work in Phelan, budget for that dual-approval timeline. It’s the single biggest difference between a smooth remodel and one that stalls mid-project.
Delta Models & Products We Service in Phelan
We install and service Delta faucets, shower valves, and tub fixtures across the model lines Phelan homeowners actually use. That includes the Delta Monitor 14 Series shower valve, the Delta Classic 1500 Series kitchen faucet, the Delta Lahara widespread bathroom faucet, and the Delta Trinsic pull-down kitchen faucet.
For repair work, we stock genuine Delta OEM cartridges, seats, and springs. When a homeowner’s budget is tight and we’re replacing cosmetic parts like trim rings or handles, we’ll use quality aftermarket components. If an older Delta fixture has failed repeatedly, we give an honest repair-versus-replace assessment. Often the right call is a newer Delta model built to handle hard well water and wide temperature swings better than the original. Check our Delta sales & service page for the full scope of what we cover.

FAQs – Delta Construction in Phelan
Yes. Private well water in Phelan carries mineral content that builds up inside Delta cartridges and valves faster than municipal water does. You’ll notice stiff handles, temperature fluctuations, or reduced flow. The fix is usually an OEM cartridge replacement, and we stock those locally for fast turnaround. Call (855) 600-3192 to have yours checked.
No if the project moves plumbing or changes drainage, San Bernardino County will require well and septic approvals alongside the building permit. That’s specific to unincorporated areas like Phelan. We handle the full permit sequence so you don’t have to coordinate with the county alone. Call (855) 600-3192 to get the approval roadmap for your property.
The Delta Monitor 14 Series is the model we recommend most often for Phelan homes. It maintains stable water temperature even when well pressure cycles or cold mornings drop incoming water temperature sharply. We’ve installed this valve across the 92329 and 92371 ZIPs with consistent results.
With hard well water, we see Delta kitchen faucets needing cartridge replacement around the five-to-seven-year mark if regular maintenance hasn’t been done. Full replacement usually makes sense around year ten to twelve, or sooner if the finish is pitting from mineral buildup. Call (855) 600-3192 for an honest assessment of your faucet.
Replacing a vanity in the same location without relocating plumbing or adding fixtures typically doesn’t require a county permit. Once you move the sink plumbing or add a new bathroom, the county permit plus well and septic approvals kick in. We’ll tell you upfront which side of that line your project falls on.
